Being in the present with one foot firmly planted in tradition and a keen, open eye for new things. This is the essence of the spirit of the historic Milani pastry shop, where the genuineness of raw materials and the search for a taste that brings back childhood memories merge with the hospitality and kindness of the hosts who greet the many customers with a smile every day.
CONCEPT
"The renovation started from the idea, strongly desired by the Milani family, to represent the fusion between tradition and innovation. Hence the realization of the project, which saw a significant renovation and expansion of the premises: installations, ergonomic redistribution of service spaces, choice of finishes, colors, and installation of new floors. The new furniture, with a linear layout, combines light wood finishes for the counter front with the materiality of gres, white slate effect split finish, for the service tops. The choice of an important set of refrigerated showcases, with the expansion of the pastry area and a new praline area, matches the furniture finishes and emphasizes the extreme transparency and visibility of the technologies; a feature that not only enhances the displayed creations but also redefines the space, making it airy. The result is an environment with contemporary geometries that, combined with the classic decorations and references of the existing elements, such as drop glass chandeliers and vertical coverings in pink Norwegian marble, create a fresh, evergreen space."
