March 24, European Artisanal Gelato Day
As every year, also in this fourteenth edition of Gelato Day, Ifi supports the European Day of Artisanal Gelato on 24 March, desired by Longarone Fiere and Artglace. Artisanal gelato is the only food to which the European Parliament has dedicated a day, with the aim of enhancing and contributing more and more to the spread of the consumption of quality gelato in Italy and Europe.
At Ifi we are proud to have contributed to the birth of this very important day, actively participating, also with our best technologies, in the initiatives at the European Parliament headquarters in Strasbourg and Brussels. Indeed, we fully recognise ourselves in an anniversary that celebrates the passion, research and authenticity of good artisan gelato.
The 2026 edition symbolically links Gelato Day to the universal language of music. The star of the year is in fact “Melody”, the Flavour of the Year 2026. A recipe conceived as a harmonious composition of flavours, with a creamy base, pistachio ripple, chopped pistachios and a delicate orange sauce.
