Toyota Lean Academy for Ifi

Performance improvement, efficiency increase, skills evolution are the result of the path undertaken with the Lean Manufacturing project started with Toyota Material Handling Italia.

From the receipt of the order to its fulfillment, the strategy developed initially saw the creation of two IFI teams to be dedicated to the project: one focused on the logistics part, the other on the production one.
The project has proven to give immediate positive results, tangibly improving not only productivity but also the quality of work in the production plant.

This solution immediately led to a double benefit. On the one hand, greater efficiency given by the drastic reduction in waste; on the other hand, an overall increase in safety levels in the area: reducing the movement and handling of goods contributes, in fact, to minimizing the risks of impact and collision and to increasing the well-being of operators.
